Established in 1974 we are dedicated to showcasing the best of contemporary Canadian art.
Situated in Banff, the heart of the Canadian Rockies, you are welcome to visit us in your ski gear, cycling wear, hiking or cowboy boots. You’ll find an array of original paintings, stone and bronze sculpture plus a selection of one-of-a-kind jewellery. Come see us 363 days a year (we’re closed on Christmas and Boxing Day).
Canada House Gallery proudly showcases 55 painters, 20 sculptors, 3 jewellers plus a comprehensive collection of Inuit art from Canada’s Arctic. Five of our artists are local, reflecting their passion for our beautiful surroundings. Many of our artists are nationally and internationally recognized, exhibiting across Canada, the USA, Europe and Asia.
When you visit, you will meet our team of art consultants who are happy to help you enjoy your Canadian art experience and find your next art acquisition. We look forward to your visits, emails & phone calls.

Our Home and Native Land
We welcome you to Banff and the Bow Valley. This has long been a place where early peoples came in peace.
There is deep and enduring memory of this valley held by Ktunaxa (too-naa-xha), Secwepemc (sha-whep-mak, or Shuswap), Métis, Dene & Tsu T'ina, Mountain Cree, Siksika & Blackfoot, and Stoney Nakoda peoples.
We acknowledge the Treaty of 1877, Treaty Seven, and the Treaty of 1895 between the salmon and buffalo peoples.
We are grateful to live here and live together.
Canada House Gallery is in Banff National Park - UNESCO World Heritage Site.
