THE GREAT HURRAH
Canadian artist and author Bill Brownridge (1932–2024) was celebrated for his vibrant, impressionistic depictions of hockey, prairie life, and winter landscapes. A graduate of the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology and Art, he created iconic works including Olympic-themed serigraphs for Calgary’s 1988 Winter Games and the Calgary Flames uniforms, while also authoring and illustrating The Moccasin Goalie trilogy. His dynamic artwork is held in private and corporate collections, making it highly sought-after by collectors of Canadian art and sports-themed pieces.
