Corey Bulpitt

Western Red Flicker tail feather design which is also a representation of a western red flicker within. The tail feather is used in certain prayers for good luck and is also attached to the front of a chiefs headdress on both sides beside the frontlet.
Developing his aesthetic style from traditional Haida forms and legends to capture the importance of Haida art in his work, Corey also embraces contemporary art forms and experiments with traditional and 21st Century materials.
