Canadian artist and author Bill Brownridge (1932–2024) was celebrated for his vibrant, impressionistic depictions of hockey, prairie life, and winter landscapes. A graduate of the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology and Art, he created iconic works including Olympic-themed serigraphs for Calgary’s 1988 Winter Games and the Calgary Flames uniforms, while also authoring and illustrating The Moccasin Goalie trilogy.
