Dieter Schlatter's multilayered mixed media landscape paintings based on manually altered photography juxtapose past and present, nature and technology. All works are on wooden panels or stretched canvas. Surfaces are often rough and bumpy or covered with a smooth high gloss layer of resin. Large pieces are made of up to 35 single photographs.
