JENNY
Jenny was a young female member of the Pipestone wolf pack that John and wolf behaviour expert, Gunther Bloch, followed for five years in Banff National Park for their book project, The Pipestone Wolves: The Rise and Fall of a Wolf Family. The family was well-known for having all-black wolves until Jenny showed up on the scene as a young gray pup in the spring of 2011.
This image was shot by Marriott along the Bow Valley Parkway in December 2011 when Jenny was eight months old.
