HOW MANY FLOWERS by ROBERT LEMAY
We are delighted to invite you to How Many Flowers, a new exhibition by Robert Lemay, opening May 2nd, with the artist in attendance from 12 PM to 4 PM. This striking body of work brings together Lemay’s incredible oil florals, where blooms unfold across the canvas through his signature grid technique—each panel capturing a fleeting moment, collectively forming something timeless and immersive.
Rooted in a deep awareness of time’s passage, Lemay’s paintings reflect a desire to preserve beauty before it slips away. His florals are not merely studies of nature, but meditations on presence, light, and the quiet urgency of living fully. Sunlight and petals become vessels for memory—moments stretched and held, inviting us to pause and consider how many such moments we are given.
Based in Edmonton, Lemay approaches beauty as both intention and necessity. His work insists on making space for it—with care, precision, and a certain fierceness. How Many Flowers is an invitation to step into that space, to experience the richness of colour and form, and to share in a vision that reminds us: though time is fleeting, we are here, and that is something worth holding onto.
