TOTEM - TWO RAVENS
Carved in the round, this red cedar totem pole depicts Raven, a clan crest from Tlingit/Kwaguitl of Tom’s fathers’ chiefs house. They possess seven coppers with the chiefs’ position; the copper is the shield shape held horizontally in the bottom Ravens’ beak. The Moon, held in the beak of the top Raven, represents a clan dance. The Eagles on the wings of both Ravens represent the clans of the Kwaguitl.
