Based on some quick photos I shot while walking late at night in Soho, London, near Carnaby Street, this piece summarizes this iconic part of the city in my mind. There was steady rain and the pubs had closed down for the night, a lonely bike casting a lovely long shadow across cobbles, ready to ferry its rider home. The steam rising from street grates in the cool spring rainy weather catches light and creates mystery and softness here, contrasting with the graphic lines of the bicycle, its elongated shadow and the cast iron fencing.
