Showing Tim Pee
Polar bears, muskox, walrus. Using kayaks and dog teams, these are the things an Inuit hunter would see out on the tundra, the open water, & ice floes. Here, traditional hunting has provided the visuals for carving production.
Tim Pee comes from a traditional background and he is one of the younger and more talented carvers living on Baffin Island. Tim is a full-time carver and his works are mainly bears walking or standing. They are all well executed and have excellent form.
Tim Pee's work has great potential and at present he is at the stage of developing more freedom in his style. The small bears he carves are especially popular.
Born on July 17, 1976 in Cape Dorset, NU. Nationality is Inuit
