BEAUX-ARTS
"The New York Public Library main branch is a stately Beaux-Arts building, graced with opulent reading rooms and sweeping public spaces. This stairwell is but one small corner, a structure of repeated arches creating rhythm, movement & grace. The gilt ceiling reflects light bouncing in from the tall arched window and bronze chandelier, creating a golden light-filled stairwell inviting the viewer to gaze upwards and climb the grand marble staircase."
